How we do it
We here at Rebates2you realize that there are a lot of websites that promise you free money and almost all of them end up costing you instead. This is not one of those sites.
There's nothing magical or sketchy about what we do. It's really quite simple. When you buy things online, the company you buy from often pays a sales commission to the website that led you to their products. We are simply giving a portion of that sales commission back to you.
These commissions can range from a few cents to several hundred dollars. If you're rebate is for more than $10, we'll send you a check. Otherwise, we'll send the money to a paypal account in your name.
Not every purchase will get you a rebate. The rebates are 100% contingent on the merchants paying commissions on your purchases. Rebates2you will take every step possible to insure that you get your rebate, but some merchants have very strict requirements for their commissions. We wish we could guarantee a rebate for every purchase, but that simply isn't possible. To minimize the chances that your rebate will be rejected, please read the “Qualified Purchases” section of this site. Even if you don't believe your purchase qualifies for a rebate, we still encourage you to submit a request for one. It only takes a few moments and you literally have nothing to lose.
Since this is, in essense, free money, we recommend you use this program as a savings plan. You can easily set up a Paypal account where every penny that goes into it is transferred directly to a saving account earning 5% APR.
Just imagine if an average of $.05 for every dollar that you spend online for the next 20 years went into an interest bearing savings account. That could easily add up to a child's college education or nice little retirement bonus. To find out more about this, read the section titled “Building A Nest Egg”.
